1. Remove the assembled Brooks Tree Brace from the master box. Spread the three legs approximately 120 degrees apart or 1/3 the distance around the tree and place the tree brace rubber pads around the trunk.

2. Thread the two nylon straps through the master plastic support.

3. Tighten the straps by pulling by hand or tighten with the tightener/release tool.

4. Adjust the telescoping legs by removing the lock bolts and pressing the spring pins, and adjusting the leg length to the correct angle for proper support (approximately 45 degrees from the trunk of the tree). Reinstall and tighten the lock bolts after the legs have been adjusted.

5. Drive the 3 reusable stakes through the access holes in the tree brace foot plates.

Note: To release tension or remove the tree brace, insert the key into the grip release and lift up until the banding strip is free.
